Our aspiration:

• Fakten: Kosmoslexicon trier as far as possible to only contain verifiable facts. Speculations and Interpretations shall be reduced to the lowest possible point at which it is still possible to convey an understanding of the matter.
• Neutrality: We are not a neutral site! However, we attempt to keep all the content on this site as free of opinions as possible, while being fully transparent that we have a selection bias, which we consider a feature of this lexicon.
• Citations: No claims are made without citation. Almost every sentence on this site will come with a footnote, except for definitions, logical connections between facts and interpretations, which again, we try to keep to a minimum.
• Primary sources: Stop with the academic telephone game! We do not demand of our readers to trust the summary or interpretation of some academic. We try instead to stay as close to the source matter at hand as possible by citing primary sources.
